The CUJU app, which uses artificial intelligence to evaluate young footballers, is now choosing its first generation of talents. Out of over 50,000 users, 90 finalists will compete — judged by São Paulo’s Luiz Gustavo, former Brazil goalkeeper Júlio César, and football influencers Caio and Vitor Lo.
After launching in 2023, CUJU held live trials this year in three Brazilian cities. The final includes not just matches, but also the Futureball Summit — a tech-focused forum on football’s future and talent development.
Júlio César says CUJU creates real opportunity: “Brazil has so much talent, and tech helps us spot it in places we’ve overlooked. It’s about fairness, visibility, and discovering the stars we might have missed.”
